- I attended Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, MI and graduated with my BFA in 1997. My emphasis was on oil painting. After undergrad, I extensively studied how cultural identity informs contemporary art on the US/Mexico Border. Upon completion of my thesis, I received my MA in History in 2003 from New Mexico State University. I continue to exhibit regionally in various galleries and art centers with the Border Artists organization.
